JOB DESCRIPTION
This role will be hybrid with 3-4 days onsite per week, 1-2 days per week remote.
Schedule: M - F, 8 am to 5 pm with flexibility, depending on business needs. Average 8 hours per day (1 hour non-billable lunch)
Duration: Feb 10, 2025 - Sep 7, 2025
Travel Requirement: 3 - 4 times during the length of the contract, to either/or Irvine, CA or Detroit, MI.
This is what you'll do:
- Apply education, training, and employment experience to support the site with the acquisition and commissioning of new process equipment.
- Lead process development & station layout design using industry standards for Cycle Time (MODAPTS) and ergonomics
- Responsible for Design for manufacturability (DFMA), evaluate new designs to provide feedback to cross-functional teams
- Lead New Equipment Reviews - Kickoff, Build Shop, Installation, Commissioning, Safety and Final Buy Off, and employment experience to support the site in acquiring and commissioning
- Lead New Equipment Start-Up - Control Plans, Maintenance Plans, Performance Tracking
This is what you'll need: - 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or similar role - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Mechanical or Electrical - Auto CAD, Robotics, PLC's, and Lean Six Sigma - Experience designing, creating, and commissioning of automated equipment
