Department : Corporate & Investment Banking – Product & Strategic Delivery

Location : New York or Charlotte, NC

Employment Type : Contractor Role (W2)


About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Business Execution Consultant 4 to join our Capital Markets Project Delivery team, focusing on regulatory reporting, project management, and business analytics for the QFC IDI Resolution Plan Project. This initiative supports implementing changes associated with the New Published Rule released on October 1, 2024, with a compliance deadline of Q1 2026. This role will play a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational resiliency, and data accuracy in the firm’s resolution planning efforts.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operational teams to interpret and implement requirements of the QFC IDI Resolution Plan’s New Published Rule.
  • Ensure the firm’s compliance with Qualified Financial Contracts (QFC) regulations, including documentation standards and operational continuity mandates.
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams to deliver on QFC IDI objectives, managing project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with regulatory deadlines and internal objectives.
  • Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues as necessary.
  • Support the design and implementation of robust reporting processes and templates to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of regulatory filings related to QFC IDI.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Utilize tools such as SQL, Excel (pivot tables, macros), and Tableau or Power BI to develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms.
  • Conduct reconciliation of key data points to ensure compliance with resolution planning standards.
  • Assist in identifying and documenting critical shared services, inter-affiliate exposures, and funding structures tied to QFCs.
  • Develop and test operational controls to ensure continuity during resolution scenarios.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, during audits and reviews.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of resolution planning activities.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, procedure guides, and regulatory impact analyses.
  • Ensure proper archival and accessibility of all project-related documents for audit readiness.


Required Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of experience in business execution, project management, or regulatory reporting within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of QFC (Qualified Financial Contracts) and IDI Resolution Plans, with hands-on experience in regulatory change initiatives.
  • Expertise in Capital Markets products (e.g., derivatives, repos) and their operational and risk management frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory filings and interpret legal documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting complex information to diverse audiences.


Preferred Qualifications :

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management certifications (PMP, Agile, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Wells Fargo’s Capital Markets platforms or similar systems like Murex, Calypso, or Summit.
  • Knowledge of U.S. and global resolution planning frameworks, including Dodd-Frank and Title I & II.
  • Experience designing and implementing Legal Entity Management frameworks to support resolution planning.
  • Background in risk analysis, control design, and operational continuity planning.
