We are seeking an experienced food service operations professional with a background in K-12 student nutrition to fill the role of Resident District Manager for a school district near Austin, TX . This role will help plan and manage multiple contracted services while meeting operational and financial goals with a continued focus on the customer and consumer needs. Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 base + 22% bonus potential + comprehensive health, dental, and vision, and 401k with company match

Resident District Manager Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in K-12/Student Nutrition environment is required .
• Proven leadership experience, typically acquired over 5-10 years, including P&L responsibility within the food and beverage industries.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a broad knowledge of management practices, business judgment, and client/consumer interaction.
• Confirmed ability to hire, assess, develop, and grow hard-working talent.
• Established communication and teamwork skills to work with all levels of the organization from the front-line associate through leadership.
• Proven success in a repeatable business model, including leading through change and turnaround initiatives.
• A bachelor’s degree is required to be successful per USDA guidelines; an advanced degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• Union experience is preferred

Resident District Manager Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 7 salaried managers/direct reports
• Oversee operating budget of $20M+
• Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
• Train and evaluate employees
• Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
• Resolve escalated customer complaints
