We are representing a well-established German enterprise specializing in advanced capital equipment for bulk material separation and screening technology. With nearly 100 years of history, this organization has a solid foundation in Germany and is now focused on growing its North American presence through a strategic startup operation.


About the Role:

While this role is listed as Sales Director , the official title within the company is CEO/General Manager of the North American division. This position is focused on driving sales growth and business development while also managing the operational responsibilities of establishing and expanding the U.S. market presence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies for North America.
  • Build and lead a team, expanding sales and service capabilities as the business grows.
  • Represent the company’s advanced technology, showcasing its unique value to customers.
  • Oversee daily operations, aligning with the organization’s global strategy.
  • Engage in regular travel (25-50%) across North America, with occasional trips to Germany.


Candidate Profile:

  • Strong technical background, preferably with an engineering degree.
  • Proven sales success in capital equipment or related industries such as fertilizers, food processing, chemicals, or plastics.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience, with a deep understanding of international business development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to operate autonomously and adapt to a startup environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Fort Lauderdale, FL, if not already in the area.
