Restaurant Service Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a dining establishment . This position involves overseeing the front-of-house activities, managing staff, and ensuring that customers have a pleasant dining experience. Reports to the General Manager

Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Manage reservations and table allocations to maximize seating and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that the restaurant environment is clean, safe, and welcoming.
Staff Supervision and Development:
- Hire, train, and manage all front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve staff performance.
- Organize regular staff meetings to discuss updates, address issues, and motivate the team.
Customer Service:
- Resolve customer complaints with diplomacy and professionalism to maintain a positive reputation.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Build relationships with regular customers and greet VIP guests personally.
Financial Management:
- Assist in setting budgetary and financial targets.
- Monitor daily receipts and expenditures.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
Compliance and Quality Control:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, and service levels.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar managerial role.
- Strong understanding of restaurant management software and point of sale (POS) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations for food service establishments.
- A hospitality management degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
