Job Summary:
As a Branch Manager with a trusted Credit Union in Central Wisconsin, you will oversee daily branch operations, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and lead a team dedicated to delivering outstanding member service. This role involves managing loan processing, staff development, and branch maintenance, all while focusing on achieving branch goals, fostering employee growth, and creating a positive experience for members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Processing (25%) : Act as a Loan Officer, processing and approving member loans within established policies to meet loan production goals.
- Team Management (20%) : Hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff to maximize productivity and ensure regulatory compliance. Provide performance appraisals and recommend promotions or terminations as necessary.
- Training (15%) : Ensure staff are well-trained in their roles, including cross-training and security procedures. Lead onboarding for new employees and keep staff informed of products and services.
- Member Services (10%) : Address member requests, resolve issues, and provide financial guidance tailored to their needs.
- Branch Operations (10%) : Oversee daily balancing of transactions, ensure cash accountability, and resolve discrepancies.
- Troubleshooting (5%) : Resolve internal and external inquiries effectively.
- Branch Maintenance (5%) : Manage the upkeep of the branch building, equipment, and grounds.
- Compliance (5%) : Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.
- Other Duties (5%) : Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience : 2–5 years of related experience in financial services or branch management.
- Education : High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills : Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs).
- Ability to perform office tasks for 6–8 hours daily and travel as required.
- Routine work in a climate-controlled office.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
Compensation:
- Pay : $62,000–$70,000 per year.
