About the Role: The Landscape Branch Manager will act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service to meet their needs and foster long-lasting relationships that enhance customer retention. Additionally, the Branch Manager will play a key role in helping the branch achieve its revenue targets. The ideal candidate must be proficient in managing job sites, overseeing personnel and crews, and handling equipment effectively.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, communicating with them regularly.
- Inspect key client properties to monitor their performance and overall quality of service.
- Ensure annual renewal of existing accounts.
- Coordinate and manage client service teams effectively.
- Assume full responsibility for the branch's Profit and Loss (P&L) statement.
- Collaborate with the Controller to accurately track branch performance and develop annual budgets for the branch.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing processes are in place.
- Ensure all contracts are executed properly.
- Safeguard the proper use and maintenance of all branch assets.
- Identify staffing needs and implement recruitment strategies.
- Monitor the branch's safety record and implement methods to improve workplace safety practices.
- Guide and monitor the performance of Account Managers and Operations Managers.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures as established.
- Drive the development of new contract and enhancement sales processes.
- Ensure that new sales goals for the branch are properly budgeted.
- Collaborate with the Business Developer to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Identify potential clients to reach sales targets and communicate these to the Business Developer.
- Understand and accurately estimate job requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed for all employee changes.
- Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, evaluate, and develop growth plans for employees.
- Contribute to achieving operational objectives in grounds management by providing information and recommendations for strategic planning and reviews.
- Prepare and implement production, quality, and customer service standards; resolve problems and determine improvements.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high sense of urgency.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and core values at all times.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial landscape experience
- 2+ years of Landscape Branch Management experience
