Temp-to-hire hybrid opportunity with a local and growing telecommunications company! As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing strategic pursuits and programs through a lifecycle of pre-contract, program execution and contract completion events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, acquisition management, or another relevant field from an accredited college/university (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in government contracting, commercial item sales, and the application, interpretation, and negotiation and contract clauses.
- Experienced in proposal stage activities and the negotiation and administration of high-dollar, multi-year, complex contracts.
- ERP experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and a variety of electronic database systems.
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent, diversified responsibilities, and operate independently within a hybrid worksite schedule, and communicate with management and other company personnel as needed to manage expectations, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Strong writing skills across all formats: proposals, contracts, correspondence (formal and informal), and drafting contract terms and conditions redlines. Able to effectively communicate orally with a variety of audiences, including the ability to make presentations to management and customers.
- Balance company interests with customer desires; maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. Flexibility to adjust to changing customer demands.
- Interest in understanding, developing, and defending contracting approaches within Government regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of both the FAR and the DFARS.
- Understand and assert intellectual property rights to the U.S. Government, including drafting of data rights assertions.
- Current, or ability to acquire, Secret or greater security clearance. Top Secret preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, administer, and manage various domestic and international contracts with commercial and U.S. government customers for the licensing and sale of commercial software and hardware on various contract types which include cost-type, firm-fixed price, and IDIQ contracts for commercial product procurement and research and development scope.
- Support traditional Government and international government or commercial entity proposal pursuits as a Contracts lead.
- Participate in team reviews and peer review proposals for completeness, responsiveness, and accuracy.
- Review, redline, recommend, and negotiate contractual terms and conditions in accordance with company policies and objectives, procurement regulations, and customer requirements.
- Interpret and advise management and internal customers of obligations driven by the terms and conditions of the contract and applicable procurement regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), United States Code, and Other Transaction Base and Project Agreements.
- Perform intellectual property protection practices, including review of data deliverable markings and drafting of Government technical data/software rights assertions.
- Interface with Contracting Officers and DCAA/DCMA, create and maintain auditable contract files, and respond to Government audit requests.
- Monitor contract performance for compliance with terms and conditions and funding and work with appropriate personnel to resolve any issues.
- Draft contractual correspondence and documentation
- Regularly interface and support Executive, Legal, Program Management, Operations, Finance, and Business Development departments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Develops relationships with team members built on trust and respect.

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
