Role : Scrum Master/Project Manager
Duration: 6+ month contract-to-hire
Clearance: Minimum Top Secret with the ability to obtain and maintain an SCI
Location : Fully onsite in Alexandria, VA
Responsibilities:
- Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned project. Supervises at least 15 employees
- Plan and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience
- Bachelors in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- PMP certification
- Proven working experience as a Project Manager or equivalent role.
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge on EVMS and Agile paradigm for development
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Service Now).
- Proven experience in leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
