Job Summary:
We are looking for an Operations Support II - Document Formatting Support professional to assist in document management tasks within a preclinical safety group. This role will primarily focus on document formatting, text editing, bookmarking, and hyperlinking to ensure all documents meet the required standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent Microsoft Word skills and a keen attention to detail, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Formatting: Format documents according to company guidelines, ensuring consistency in layout, style, and structure.
- Bookmarking and Hyperlinking: Add bookmarks and hyperlinks to documents for easier navigation and to ensure proper organisation.
- Text Editing: Review and edit text for clarity, grammar, and spelling to ensure all content is accurate and professionally presented.
- Graph and Table Management: Insert and format graphs, tables, and figures as required to complement the document content.
- Report Template Creation: Support the creation and updating of report templates to maintain consistency across documents.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure documents meet the necessary standards and guidelines.
- Training: Participate in training programs to gain expertise in document formatting and internal processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a document management or administrative support role, with a focus on document formatting .
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Word proficiency, including document formatting, hyperlinking, bookmarking, and text editing.
- Experience with creating templates for reports, and managing tables and graphs.
- Familiarity with document management systems is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
