About the Opportunity
We are seeking an energetic HR Shared Services Coordinator with an ownership attitude to support the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities include preparing correspondence, processing employment transactions in Workday, maintaining and auditing personnel files, data entry, providing human resources-related customer service, training field resources and reps on systems and other processes, scanning documents, organizing information, and other HR clerical functions as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Experience in providing HR Services support across multiple HR functions in a helpful and timely manner when it comes to employee life cycle, benefits, sick time/leave of absence requests, records administrations, employee relations, analyzing data, and HR projects
  • Experience with HR Systems of record and ticketing management system
  • Experience in resolving inquiries from employees on HR processes
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignment sin a fast- paced environment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not essential
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented individual
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative and view no task as too large or too small
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent computer and data entry skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Drive improvements by contributing innovative ideas to enhance HR processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly, upbeat, and approachable demeanor, showing care and discretion in every interaction
Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience as a HR Assistant or similar junior HR role
  • Experience with Workday, SharePoint, Zendesk or Accurate
  • Knowledge of labor laws, benefits management, and general HR processes
  • A passionate HR enthusiast who loves helping people thrive!

  • Someone who's eager to learn and grow - trainability is key!
  • Ability to work both independently and as part a team.
  • Skilled juggling multiple tasks in fast-paced setting.

  • Strong communication skills - both spoken and written.
  • Organized and efficient, with excellent time management abilities.
  • Tech-savvy with top-notch data entry skills and Microsoft Office expert

Additional Information
This full-time, non-exempt position will be based at the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California.
  • Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 DOE; may be eligible for bonus
