Job Description

JBSS is a North American market leader in every selling channel – from consumer and commercial ingredient to contract manufacturing. The company is managed by the 4th generation of the founding family members who execute the dual consumer strategy of offering branded nut and dried fruit programs (Fisher, Orchard Valley Harvest, Squirrel Brand and Southern Style Nuts) as well as private brands, while delivering consistent profitable growth.


We are looking for a Sr. Director of Sales to lead our Walmart Sales team. This pivotal role requires someone who can strategize, execute, effectively navigate and operate within the Walmart corporate environment, making effective use of customer systems and processes.


This individual must reside in Bentonville, AR.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve profitability targets and expand our presence within Walmart.
  • Lead and develop a high-performance sales team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and product development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart's leadership.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of ten years of experience calling on retail customers or direct retail customer experience.
  • Five-plus years of experience managing and leading annual operating and customer planning processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of Walmart's business model and structure.
  • Proven network of internal connections within Walmart.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and financial acumen skills.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
