Our client is building a team dedicated to innovation, safety, and excellence. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a critical role in leading cutting-edge projects, mentoring the next generation of engineers, and contributing to the production of high-quality steel products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Production: Lead and oversee the design of steel products for production, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Technical Support: Collaborate with sales, detailing, project management, and production teams to provide engineering expertise.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering professional growth and technical skill development.
• Plant Operations: Visit plants to ensure the successful implementation of designs and provide hands-on technical support as needed.
• Client Engagement: Conduct client visits to understand requirements, present solutions, and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Safety Advocacy: Ensure all engineering practices align with safety protocols and promote a culture of safety across teams.
• Travel: Occasionally travel to offsite locations for client meetings and plant visits.

Required Qualifications

• Strong engineering experience (civil or mechanical engineering roles preferred).
• Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
• Experience in utility projects, with strong knowledge of transmission line design.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support engineering teams.
• Experience engaging with clients and working in plant environments with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety in design and operations.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Design steel products for production.
• Visit plants to ensure design implementation.
• Engage with clients during site visits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure team alignment with safety practices.
