- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electronic medical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning medical devices.
- Ensure equipment calibration meets manufacturers' and regulatory standards.
- Install and configure new electronic medical equipment.
- Conduct performance and safety tests before equipment is placed into service.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare safety standards (e.g., FDA, OSHA, TJC).
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Assist in equipment risk assessment and hazard management.
