IT Project Coordinator to work within the PMO for an Internation Law Firm in NYC
This role can be partially or fully remote. a few days per month in NYC for important meetings would be ideal.
Long term contract or full time offered as well.
Key responsibilities include: Project Co-Ordinator/Administrator:
Responsibilities
- Work along with Project managers and Program managers on various activities including project plan updates, meetings, preparation of executive materials
- Schedule and conduct regular meetings and record decisions (e.g. assigned tasks and next steps)
- Manage meeting minutes and follow up on action items
- Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Track financials, timesheets for the projects
- Monitor project progress and address potential issues and bring it up to the leadership as due date arise
- Coordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet requirements
- Measure and report on project performance
- Act as the point of contact for all participants
Requirements and skills
- Work experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar role
- Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation and schedules
- Knowledge of project management software (e.g. Trello or Microsoft Project)
- Hands on experience with MS word and MS powerpoint
- Solid organization and time-management skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus, but not required
