  • Partner with the CEO to develop, implement, and execute a long-term strategic financial plan aligned with business objectives.
  • Design and implement robust financial and accounting controls, including standard costing systems.
  • Oversee internal and external financial reporting frameworks, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity in all financial and accounting outputs, supervising key deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive accounting policies and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with key third-party service providers, including auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
  • Lead the preparation of financial reviews, audits, and tax compliance reports.
  • Review and assess contracts as needed.
  • Guide M&A efforts, overseeing due diligence and financial integration.
  • Position the company for potential liquidity events such as an IPO or similar.
  • Deliver financial presentations to the Board of Directors and internal/external stakeholders, including lenders.
  • Execute special projects and initiatives as directed by the CEO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of financial management experience, including at least 5 years as a CFO within a $200M+ manufacturing organization.
  • Strong background in cost accounting, with the ability to implement accounting and financial systems that balance practicality and cost-efficiency.
  • Extensive knowledge of GAAP and experience managing cash flow in complex business environments.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience leading internal and external financial audits, with a proven ability to prepare financial presentations for the Board.
  • Experience in both public and private companies; familiarity with private equity firms is a plus.
  • Expertise in foreign exchange and international cash management is desirable.
