Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)

Duration: 6-month contract (possibility for extension)

Summary

The Finance and Commercial Operations team at our Global Medical Device customer is seeking an established Business Intelligence Analyst to join their exciting efforts around data transformation and visualization to ultimately enable end users and stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering stakeholder needs, manipulating data into consumable/valuable insights, and presenting trends, findings, etc.

Responsibilities

• Work to gather and understand stakeholder needs through effective communication.

• Design, development, testing and deployment of Tableau Dashboards

• Leverage Alteryx to prepare, blend, and analyze data from various sources

• Structure business problems and recommend visualization solutions.

• Support the development of predictive models and statistical analysis.

• Leverage advanced Tableau functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, etc.) to create analytical dashboards.

• Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/ business analysts to define technical and process requirements.

• Develop ad-hoc reporting for diverse business problems including product development, customer acquisition, enterprise risk, financial reporting, and process improvement.

• Build effective working relationships with team members.

Skillset

• 4+ years of professional Business Intelligence experience

• 4+ years of leveraging Tableau for data visualization and reporting

• Professional experience leveraging Alteryx

• Strong understanding and ability to leverage SQL

• Experience working, communicating, and presenting to high-level stakeholders

• Experience working within finance, commercial operations, contracting and pricing, etc.

• Nice to have skills:

• Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.

• Tableau Cloud
