Akkodis is Seeking a Manufacturing Measurment Technician contractor for the location of Maple Grove MN. It is a contract Position for 12 months. Ideally Looking for a candidate with experience in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.
Pay Range: $25 - $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Duties
1. Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products from concepts.
2. Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software to document prototypes and fixtures.
3. Explore and propose creative solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
4. Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.
5. Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
6. Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
7. Act as a resource to other employees.
8. Communicate project status to project teams.
Additional Job Specific Requirements:
• Experience with metrology. Specifically, developing dimensional measurement methods for manufactured medical device products.
• Prior experience making measurement programs with measurement systems
o For this roll, programming Keyence IM, Keyence LM, and Visicon equipment would be most helpful.
o Prior experience with other measurement systems would also be helpful, including: SmartScope, CMM (Zeiss, Hexagon), CT Scanner, O-Inspect, Keyence VK, VR, VH, VL, XGX.
o Experience developing measurement recipes using measurement equipment. Familiarity with different software tools and good practices when developing inspection recipes. Examples include use of datums, pattern matching tools, and when automated versus operator assisted inspections are best.
• Data analysis - determining pass/fail dispositioning of parts based on measurement results. Sorting measurement data in Microsoft Excel and calculating simple statistics (min/max/ave), conditional formatting, and pivot tables. Experience with Minitab is a plus.
• Experimentation - experience conducting experiments, varying different process inputs and testing for different outputs. Experience conducting GR&R tests.
Qualifications
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
Team Oriented, Understanding measurements.
Additional Job Specific Requirements: CAD/CAM experience, Fixturing, GD&T/print experience
