About the Role

We are seeking a Data Solutions Engineer with 7-10 years of experience to play a critical role in optimizing and streamlining our data pipelines and financial analytics processes . This individual will work closely with the Investment Management team , handling data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) while supporting and improving existing codebases. The goal is to enhance our enterprise-level data environment and eventually take ownership of data engineering responsibilities . This position is highly collaborative but not client-facing —it requires working directly with internal teams, including quant analysts and investment managers .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines , ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with the Investment Management team to streamline and enhance data processes .
• Collaborate with quant analysts to ingest, transform, and manage data from various broker sources.
• Improve the enterprise-level environment by refining code, automating workflows, and ensuring data integrity.
• Manage and maintain MS SQL databases and work within an Azure cloud environment .
• Support ongoing development projects and contribute to strategic data initiatives .
• Provide insights and recommendations on how to improve the existing data architecture and where the environment needs to evolve.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7-10 years of experience in data engineering, data solutions, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Strong experience with MS SQL databases and writing complex queries.
• Understanding of financial services or experience in a regulated industry is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Azure cloud environments .
• Bonus Skills:
• Experience with Salesforce integration.
• Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.
