Responsibilities:

• Plan and make changes to our databases to keep them running well.
• Help us come up with new ideas to make things work even better.
• Focus on making our Microsoft SQL databases, especially versions 2016, 2019, and 2022, run smoothly and reliably.
• Understand how our technology works and help us plan for the future.
• Work closely with other teams in IT to make sure everything fits together

Skills:

• How to use SQL databases, especially Microsoft SQL.
• How to write and improve SQL queries to make things faster.
• Experience with tools like SSRS and Power BI.
• How to set up and manage databases, including making sure they're secure.
• Some knowledge of managing multiple servers at once.
• Finding ways to make things run better, like archiving old data or making sure our databases are organized.
• Some experience with MongoDB, both in our own servers and in the cloud.
• Keeping an eye on how our databases are doing and fixing any problems that come up.
• Installing, updating, and configuring SQL servers.
• Making sure our databases are always available and working well.
• Creating and maintaining reports using SSRS, and helping us understand our data better.
