We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our Construction Project Managers in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a good understanding of project management processes, and the ability to assist in driving projects forward while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities
1. Project Planning:
- Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Help create and maintain detailed project timelines, tracking critical milestones and deliverables.
- Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates for stakeholder review.
- Assist in contract onboarding, including but not limited to submittals, subcontractors onboarding, performing CORI check submissions and overall job set up.
2. Project Execution:
- Assist in overseeing daily operations on construction sites to ensure adherence to project plans, safety standards, and regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other external parties to facilitate timely delivery of materials and services.
- Help manage project risks and address issues or changes in scope as they arise.
- Participate in regular team and onsite meetings to review project status, address concerns, and set priorities.
- Represent the company at meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed, promoting a positive image and fostering new business opportunities.
3. Project Completion:
- Assist in the completion of all necessary documentation, including warranties and compliance tasks.
- Aid in coordinating project handover to the client, ensuring all requirements are met and the client is satisfied.
- Participate in post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, capture lessons learned, and provide recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, not required
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
