Job Title: IT Asset Coordinator
Location: Chicago, IL based, remote position

Pay Rate: $44-49/hr., based on experience and benefit inclusions
Job Summary: We are seeking a IT Asset Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technology assets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records, and coordinating with various departments to support business operations and technology needs.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update technology assets and attributes, including CMDB audits and contract renewals.
Coordinate with team members for maintenance renewals and monitor End of Life/Support products.
Lead meetings to prioritize CMDB updates and contract renewals.
Communicate proactively about renewals and updates to senior leadership.
Support business operations by collaborating with business and technical leaders.
Recommend process improvements and assist in project scoping.
Drive decisions on renewals and ensure alignment with Managed Service Providers.
Prepare and present at steering committee meetings.
Manage plans, schedules, and escalation management.
Enforce governance standards and promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Work with technical teams, procurement, and suppliers on technology options and contract renewals.
Years of Experience and Education:
Bachelor - Computer Science, Information Technology, Business is desirable, or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of related work experience in multiple areas of technology, including project/program management.
Familiarity with Technology Lifecycle Management activities and phases (n-x, End of Life, End of Support).
Understanding of contract renewals, procurement processes, forecasting, and budgeting as it pertains to technology lifecycle management.
Skills Required:
Proven experience with Project Management and/or Business Analysis.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently to achieve team goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers, clients, and technology management.
Strong diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and build consensus.
Knowledge of Technology and Operations processes and operating models.
