Job Details

The Controller will oversee all functional accounting and control activities, manage business unit forecasting, planning, reporting, consolidation, and analysis functions, and ensure compliance with internal audit requirements. This position also provides leadership to the Financial organization.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a member of the Springdale Lead Team and act as a business partner in developing and implementing business strategy.
Act as a catalyst for change and drive business performance improvement.
Manage planning, reporting, consolidation, and analysis functions, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
Understand, review, and communicate key drivers for location success.
Drive financial engagement with operations.
Create and monitor internal controls to meet financial plans.
Ensure strict adherence to the company code of conduct and corporate policy.
Manage location performance pay plan.
Lead initiatives to close gaps from current performance to benchmark levels.
Develop strong internal cost control systems to ensure plans are met.
Ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
Develop systems to maximize profit generation from all business areas.
Create an environment where problems are solved to the root cause.
Create an environment where systems are used to accurately plan and deliver according to expectations.
Continuously drive for process improvements.
Perform special projects or other duties as assigned/requested.

Qualifications:

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar industry.
Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
Minimum of 6-9 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing or supervising others in a direct reporting relationship.
