Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Controller to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in driving our financial success. The Permanent Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role requires extensive experience in manufacturing and distribution sectors, with a strong emphasis on financial control and strategic planning. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
2. Developing and implementing financial strategies to support company growth and profitability.
3. Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
4. Providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers to senior management.
5. Managing and coordinating the preparation of budget and financial forecasts.
6. Evaluating and managing risk, ensuring the implementation of internal controls.
7. Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
8. Implementing and maintaining effective financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.
9. Providing leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Permanent Controller position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
4. Proven experience in financial strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
5. Strong analytical skills and experience in financial forecasting, budgets, and financial reporting.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
7. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
9. Proficiency in accounting software and other financial management tools.
10. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strategic and forward-thinking mindset.
