Job Title: Architectural Project Manager (Retail/Restaurant)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Architectural Project Manager to lead and manage architectural projects with a focus on retail and restaurant design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing all phases of design and construction, with specific expertise in retail and restaurant projects. Proficiency in Revit software is essential to support the design and documentation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage architectural design projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring they meet client requirements, deadlines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to develop project objectives and deliverables.
• Create and oversee the preparation of high-quality architectural drawings, plans, and models using Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, etc.) to ensure seamless project integration.
• Ensure that projects comply with all relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards, particularly for retail and restaurant spaces.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and on-budget project delivery.
• Oversee construction administration, including reviewing contractor submittals, change orders, and RFIs.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and designers on the team.
• Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, with an emphasis on prioritizing tasks and effectively managing competing deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural project management, with a focus on retail and/or restaurant projects.
• Proficiency in Revit for architectural design and documentation (experience with other BIM software is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, building codes, and permit processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and work in collaborative teams.
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering quality work on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and trends in the retail and restaurant sectors is a plus.
• Ability to travel to project sites as necessary.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) for collaboration and project efficiency.
• Experience with construction administration and site management.
• Familiarity with the latest design trends, technologies, and materials in retail and restaurant design.
