Project Manager (Federal Government Group)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead teams and projects within our client's Federal Government Group. The ideal candidate is a confident leader, skilled communicator, and proactive problem solver with a strong track record in client relationship management, project execution, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate internal and external project teams.
- Manage client relationships throughout all project phases.
- Develop and oversee budgets, schedules, proposals, and staffing plans.
- Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget goals with proactive adjustments.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and client relationships.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
- Provide leadership in project design, documentation, and cost management.
- Represent the company professionally in networking and client engagements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering from an accredited university.
- 10+ years of experience in the building design industry.
- Professional registration as an Architect or Engineer.
- Proven ability to manage project teams and external consultants.
- Strong skills in project proposals, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Experience in business development and client acquisition.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification (or willingness to pursue).
- Experience managing Federal, State, and Local Government projects.
- Familiarity with Revit and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Contract negotiation experience with A/E contracts.
