Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, and be proficient in working with a variety of metals such as steel and aluminum. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals, using MIG, TIG, Stick, or other applicable welding methods.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure precise measurements and specifications.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment, ensuring tools and machines are in safe and efficient working order.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with welding equipment, materials, and processes to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment.
• Record welding data, including materials used, hours worked, and any issues encountered, for quality assurance and reporting.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior welders and other team members when needed.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including work orders, quality records, and production reports.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Certification : Welding certification (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in welding, specifically in GMAW, TIG, or Stick welding.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to use welding tools and machines (welders, grinders, etc.) safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with using welding gages and measurement tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in welding preferred.
