Responsibilities
The duties of this Real Estate & Workplace interim role is end-to-end accountability to execute regional real estate and workplace strategies, priorities and targets for the Americas region.
The role has end-to-end accountability for safeguarding effective solution delivery and performance management for Regional Real Estate & Workplace projects. Several projects within the region must be executed in parallel and most of the time a strong collaboration and communication with global asset management must be ensured. This requires the ability to:
- Translate global processes and guidelines into regional specific projects Organize teams and skills efficiently to support sites with high quality services (internal & external teams).
- Ensures governance / compliance to local and site specific regulations and ensuring the company's reputation.
- Handles contract vendor management (escalation level, order management, addendums, or change requests to the contract in alignment with global standards and alignment with other functions).
- Delivers relevant data and insights via reliable budget planning process.
- Maintains regional and local business as well as external stakeholder relationships (e.g., service providers, landlords, etc.) Handles risk identification & mitigation measures reporting to regional Head of RE&FM.
- Manges real estate related queries and problems.
- Exchanges and aligns with FM Solution Manager Property/Site Manager/POC.
- Translates and adapts Global Workplace & Project management standards into regional workplace solutions, including alignment with stakeholders (HR,IT).
- Implements and manages contracts from regional perspective.
- Supports global RE Vendor Manager in conception and selection processes for Real Estate, Workplace & Project management suppliers/consultants.
- Prepares and delivers influential storytelling presentations.
- Discovers and leverages internal and eternal research, benchmarks, and trends to help facilitate business partner discussions about the future of their respective area.

Education:
Required Education:Degree in Economics, Legal or in the field Real Estate management, Architecture, Project / Construction Management, or Workplace & Design or 10 years equivalent workplace experience.
