Job Description:
A leading financial services organization is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative and secretarial support for a department or a group of professionals. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support, including document preparation, word processing, and data entry.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally, take accurate messages, and respond to routine inquiries.
- Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and managing logistics.
- Handle mail distribution, including opening, sorting, and delivering incoming correspondence.
- Maintain electronic filing systems and organize documents for easy retrieval.
- Support department needs with basic office tasks, including printing, scanning, and copying documents.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Good Telephone Manner – Professional, clear, and courteous communication skills.
- Microsoft Excel – Basic proficiency in spreadsheets, data entry, and formatting.
- Microsoft Word – Ability to create, edit, and format documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
