Blue Chip Talent is looking for a Sr. Platform Engineer - Infotainment/Software Engineer in Palo Alto, CA.

MUST HAVE:

• Infotainment Software Experience

Responsibilities:

• Join the Infotainment Platform team to implement and optimize various components of the infotainment software stack (such as system services and utilities on QNX and Linux, Linux kernel, and Android framework).
• Analyze and document the root causes of stability and performance issues in the infotainment system in detail.
• Develop robust solutions and test cases, and enhance the existing codebase to improve visibility and test coverage to prevent similar issues in the future.
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to develop and integrate new board support packages provided by external SoC vendors.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing system-level software for mobile or embedded systems; experience with Linux or Android-based systems is preferred.
• Proficient in C and/or C++ programming, and familiar with Python and/or POSIX shell scripting; experience with Rust programming is a plus.
• Knowledgeable about modern SoC architecture, operating system fundamentals, hardware/software interfaces and abstractions, and virtualization technologies.
• A self-motivated learner and problem solver, with a proven ability to manage trade-offs when defining solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
