Job Overview:

The Project Engineer/Structural Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity and efficiency of our projects. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, developing engineering solutions, and overseeing the successful execution of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in structural engineering, ensuring designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize computer modeling and BIM (REVIT) to enhance structural coordination.
• Work closely with Architects, Project Managers, and Site Superintendents to integrate structural requirements into overall project planning.
• Coordinate and manage all state and municipal permitting and approvals related to structural elements.
• Contribute to the development of design documents, ensuring they align with structural engineering principles.
• Explore and implement innovative structural solutions for optimal building performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of structural design and construction processes.
• Provide structural engineering support during the construction phase.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets structural design and quality standards.
• Address and resolve structural engineering challenges as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Structural Engineer in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software and BIM tools, including REVIT.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and building codes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
