Job Overview:
The Project Engineer/Structural Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity and efficiency of our projects. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, developing engineering solutions, and overseeing the successful execution of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in structural engineering, ensuring designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize computer modeling and BIM (REVIT) to enhance structural coordination.
- Work closely with Architects, Project Managers, and Site Superintendents to integrate structural requirements into overall project planning.
- Coordinate and manage all state and municipal permitting and approvals related to structural elements.
- Contribute to the development of design documents, ensuring they align with structural engineering principles.
- Explore and implement innovative structural solutions for optimal building performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of structural design and construction processes.
- Provide structural engineering support during the construction phase.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets structural design and quality standards.
- Address and resolve structural engineering challenges as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Structural Engineer in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software and BIM tools, including REVIT.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and building codes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
