Job Summary: The Maintenance Engineer II is responsible for providing ongoing support in the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, water, and air systems. This role requires a strong service orientation and technical skills to address issues in a timely manner, ensuring continuous operation and minimal downtime. The position will involve 24/7 incident response and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and safety of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities: - Incident Response: Serve as Level 1 and Level 2 support for electrical systems incidents, and Level 1 support for HVAC, water, and air systems.
- Monitoring: Conduct periodic patrols to monitor the state of the electrical, HVAC, and other critical systems.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Manage and implement Preventive Maintenance activities in collaboration with Client subcontractors, following Client PM plan.
- Malfunction Handling (MH): Provide immediate response to incidents, classified as L1 or L2, across electrical and HVAC systems.
- Customer Service: Exhibit strong service orientation, responsibility, and independence in managing day-to-day maintenance operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions.
Required Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certifications: Must possess a certified electrician license.
Technical Skills: - Basic knowledge and skills in HVAC systems.
- Proficient in basic computer skills (Office Suite, operating systems).
- Ability to serve as Level 1 support for HVAC, water, and air systems; Level 1 and Level 2 support for electrical systems.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Adequate vision (near, far, color, depth, and peripheral) and hearing (audiogram test required).
- Availability: Willingness to be available for 24/7 incident response.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience: Previous experience in maintenance of electrical and HVAC systems in an industrial or commercial setting is preferred.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge in HVAC systems and troubleshooting is a plus.
