Job Summary:
The Pre-Press Associate I prepares printing materials and components to support production orders, ensuring precise execution and inventory management. This role involves working closely with supervisors and team members while adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare printing plates, dies, inks, boxes, labels, cores, paperwork, and other supplies for production orders.
•Precisely mount flexible printing plates on print cylinders.
•Return and inventory unused components upon order completion.
•Operate electric lift carts with working platforms at height.
•Perform accurate inventory transactions using handheld scanners.
•Assist with inventory counts.
•Actively follow and participate in safety regulations, policies, and initiatives, including daily maintenance inspections and reporting concerns to the appropriate leader.
Required Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
•Basic math and computer skills.
•Effective communication skills.
•Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Prior experience in a pre-press or manufacturing environment is a plus.
•Familiarity with inventory management systems or tools is desirable.
•Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and push/pull carts.
•Standing, walking, and bending 95% of the time.
•Requires effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
