Executive Communications Associate, Writer Meta is looking for a writer to assist with executive briefing and writing. This role will be responsible for drafting prep materials ahead of (a top executive's) media interviews, podcasts, and creator conversations and will also be tasked with drafting and editing scripts and blog and social posts. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of material that proves an ability to convey nuanced ideas about products and policies in clear, concise, and elegant prose. An ability to communicate complex concepts in simple language is crucial -- and proven deadline writing is critical. We're looking for a team player who can partner closely with cross-functional partners to develop messaging and also serve as a writing resource for the core team.Responsibilities Draft briefing materials to prepare top executive for interviews with media, creators, and other public figuresDraft video scripts for partner events that highlight how our companies are working togetherAct as a resource for other writers and colleagues working on executive projectsWork with internal communications partners to draft prep materials ahead of Company Q&As and other employee-focused momentsPartner with creative team to help guide visual assets that complement scriptsMinimum Qualifications BA in journalism, communications or a related field3+ years in a copyeditor, speechwriter or writer role in tech, politics, media or businessProven research and analytical skillsExperience managing multiple projects at onceExperience creating and drafting statements on tight deadlinesPreferred Qualifications Experience distilling complex technology or policy issues into simplified languageFor those who live in or expect to work from California if hired for this position, please click here for additional information.Compensation $35.10/hour to $107,000/year + bonus + equity + benefitsIndividual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
