Duties:
- We are looking for a motivated, dedicated employment attorney to join our team. This position offers unparalleled growth potential, with the opportunity to help shape the future of our firm.
- Pre-Litigation: Investigate claims, draft demand letters, and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in employment disputes.
- Litigation: Manage cases from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and representing clients in court.
- Client Advocacy: Work closely with clients to provide clear, empowering legal advice and ensure they are informed throughout the legal process.
- Case Management: Efficiently handle a diverse caseload, utilizing tools like Clio and HubSpot to stay organized and focused.
- Collaborative Growth: Be an integral part of the firm's growth by contributing to strategies, mentoring junior attorneys, and embracing leadership roles.
Qualifications
- Preferred 1-2 years of litigation experience, with an emphasis on employment law.
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with case management systems like Clio or HubSpot.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required.
- The ideal candidate will have litigation experience in employment law and be ready to take on significant responsibilities in both pre-litigation and litigation matters.
