Job Role : Senior Windows Engineer(Onsite)

Work Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan

We are seeking an experienced CISOS Administrator with expertise in managing and securing Windows based operating systems This role is responsible for configuring maintaining and troubleshooting Windows servers and systems in alignment with CIS Center for Internet Security standards ensuring secure efficient and reliable operations across our infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

System Administration Install configure and manage Windows OS including Windows Server Active Directory and Windows applications

Security Hardening Apply CIS benchmarks to harden Windows systems including patch management antivirus updates and compliance checks

User Management Manage user accounts permissions and access rights across Windows systems

Monitoring and Maintenance Set up and monitor system s and proactively manage and resolve any system or network issues

Backup and Recovery Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and backup procedures

Patch Management Regularly update and maintain patches and service packs across all Windows systems

Documentation Document processes policies configurations and incident reports

Compliance Ensure all Windows systems comply with CIS benchmarks and other organizational security standards

Collaboration Work closely with security network and application teams to ensure secure integration and operations

Required Skills and Experience

Technical Proficiency In depth experience with Windows OS Windows Server 2012 2016 2019 2022 Active Directory Group Policies and PowerShell scripting

Security Standards Familiarity with CIS benchmarks for Windows OS and security hardening practices

Networking Understanding of TCPIP DNS DHCP and VPN technologies

Problem Solving Skills Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues

Certifications preferred Certifications like MCSA MCSE CompTIA Security or CISSP
