We’re looking to hire a Speech Language Pathologist to join a dedicated education team in Cook County, IL. This is a full-time contract, in-person position that will run through the remainder of the 24/25 school year.

Schedule: Guaranteed full-time hours, 5 days per week

Age Levels: Intermediate/Middle School

Caseload: 30-35 Students

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom.
• Provide therapy in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress updates.
• Educate staff and families on speech and language development strategies.

Speech Language Pathologist Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois State SLP License and Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Prior experience in a school-based setting, particularly in secondary education, is a plus.
