Job Summary:

We are seeking a Plant Engineer or Process Engineer with a background in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and experience working with chemicals. This role focuses on regulatory audits, plant safety, scheduling and overseeing maintenance and developing/updating SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage audits.

Oversee plant safety and implement preventive measures.

Schedule and supervise maintenance activities.

Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Support process troubleshooting and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience in chemical or manufacturing plant operations.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and plant safety standards.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SQF or similar quality systems.

Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
