The Structures Company is seeking a Material Coordinator in Marysville, WA
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated skills and three years' experience.
- Aerospace industry experience is preferred
- Must have a valid drivers license, and must be willing to drive a company vehicle between Marysville and Moses Lake.
- Must be willing to operate a forklift.
- Must be a US Citizen or green card holder
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
Summary
Serves as the point of contact/liaison to ensure parts and materials required to support the manufacturing and installation of an aircraft interiors program are received on schedule. Coordinates activities between Planning, Stores and Modification personnel by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives material requests from Technicians and coordinates delivery with appropriate personnel.
- Assists Stores Lead in the prioritization, coordination, and delivery of parts kits to hangar/shop floor.
- Organizes kits/materials on hangar/shop floor based on point of use and scheduled activities to facilitate technicians.
- Collaborates with Technicians to maintain kit cleanliness through daily spot checks.
- Supports kit shortage status and fulfillment.
- Manages floor stock usage and replenishment.
- Supports program parts status meetings and provides visibility of mod center activities regarding parts required.
- Supports AOG, engineering revisions, and overtime requirements as necessary.
- Coordinates clearing of mod site material discrepancies.
- Supports Stores personnel engaged in shipping, receiving, issuing, and delivering supplies and equipment.
- Picks up and delivers materials from various locations as needed.
- Contributes to the materials management reporting systems to meet company requirements.
- Contributes to a positive work atmosphere by displaying productive behavior and communication focused on building effective working relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Wears safety equipment as required and follows safety guidelines/procedures.
- Properly adheres to training and GHS/SDS guidelines when handling Hazardous Materials.
- Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated skills and three years’ experience. Experience in Aerospace industry preferred. Valid driver license required.

- Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, and verbally communicate).
- Knowledge of aerospace components preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Familiar with basic quality terms, concepts, inspection, and planning processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, pack slips, invoices, and certification documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Mathematical knowledge and ability to apply towards problem solving.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Physical Requirements
- Able to climb and work on step stools and/or ladders.
- Able to lift 25 lbs. without assistance/able to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

- Normal or corrected vision (required to perform exacting tasks).
- Full range of motion with both hands.
- Can work in a stooping, kneeling, or standing position and in cramped areas.
