We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Specialist (Contract Packaging Specialist) to be responsible for new & existing customers from onboarding to maintaining relationships and servicing the customers. The Project Specialist will complete all order entry, invoicing and will work with staff across departments to fulfill the customer’s needs. Must be analytically minded and possess excellent customer service skills.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
· Manages customer service responsibility for Contract Packaging Division
· Manage internal process for customer onboarding, insuring proper set up, formula creation, scheduling, specifications, shipping requirements, etc.
· Analyzes information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution
· Preparing and presents sales reports, tracking late deliveries, cost corrections
· Reviewing SAPR and BOL reports daily to insure timely billing per customer requirements
· Maintains focus on product opportunities at various accounts
· Responsible for communicating market information to management
· Manages quotes at all current accounts and prospects for the CPK Division
· Analyze CPK processes by finding root causes of delays to facilitate improvement opportunities.
· Identify gaps, non-value-added steps, and other impediments to an efficient operation.
· Assist in creating process maps, SOP’s, and other solution design documentation for CPK division
· Oversees order processing and invoicing for CPK customers
· Oversees the process sample requests per customer request
· Assist with pricing model development
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree – Required. Business Administration with focus in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum three (2+) years combined of chemical related industry experience and knowledge related to Chemical/Manufacturing or non-degreed minimum (5+) years customer service experience - Preferred.
- Minimum 2 plus years Chemical/Manufacturing Experience
- Minimum 2 plus years customer service experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites Programs: Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Teams a plus.
- Experience with enterprise business systems and their processes. Chempax or related ERP systems - Preferred.
- Preferred: DOT experience that includes Hazardous Materials
