The firm specializes in representing insurers in complex coverage and recovery actions, focusing on first-party and third-party insurance disputes. Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Litigation Attorney at FCOMH. The successful candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience in complex commercial litigation (note: this is not an insurance defense role). The role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a wide range of litigation tasks, including:
- Conducting legal research.
- Drafting motions and legal memoranda.
- Representing clients in courts and trials.
- Conducting depositions.
- Briefing and arguing appeals.
- Providing legal counsel on complex insurance coverage matters.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
- Skills:
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Proficiency in drafting and arguing motions.
- Experience with trials, depositions, and appellate briefing.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving expertise.
- Education:
- Top-level academic credentials (generally in the top third of law school class).
- Licenses:
- Admission to the New Jersey and New York bars (additional jurisdictions are a plus but not required).
