Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Supply Chain Director to join our dynamic team in the Fort Worth area. This key leadership role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation supply chains, including expertise in parts and distribution agreements.


Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and distribution of aviation parts and materials.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on cost efficiency, performance optimization, and timely delivery.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage parts and distribution agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and addressing any potential supply chain disruptions or performance issues.
  • Analyze data and KPIs to monitor the performance of the supply chain and identify areas for improvement in procurement and logistics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and quality control) to ensure alignment of supply chain processes with corporate objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, ensuring continuous improvement, training, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and corporate policies.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with 5+ years in a leadership role .
  • Strong experience in aviation supply chains , including parts procurement , distribution agreements , and inventory management .
  • Knowledge of aviation industry regulations and corporate aviation experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex supplier relationships and negotiate contracts and service agreements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
