We are assisting a client company in finding an experienced Civil Engineering Sr. Project Manager

Role Description

This role is based in Santa Clarita, CA with full relocation provided . The role involves supervising the work of Engineers, Designers, and other project staff; managing project schedules and budgets; preparation and handling of contracts, proposals, scopes of work; and interacting with public agency employees.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in civil engineering project management
• BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (Strongly Preferred)
• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in land development and/or public works (required); or the equivalent work experience of twelve (12) years in the industry .
• Experience supervising design teams.
• Site assessment, the ability to perform engineering design studies (incorporating infrastructure requirements, and potential regulatory issues)
• Preparation/processing of regulatory plans
• Preparation/processing of public improvement plans in support of public agencies and capital improvement projects
• Preparation/processing of plans to support land development projects
• Expert in preparation/processing of plans through Los Angeles and Ventura County Public Works.
• Ability to perform constructability reviews
• Experience with a range of construction support services
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management software and tools: Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, etc.
• Experience with budgeting and resource management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
