Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering and design team for large commercial mechanical projects.
• Oversee and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system designs to meet project specifications and client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and energy efficiency guidelines .
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field teams to optimize project execution.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to engineering staff.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in mechanical system design and installation.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and submittals .
• Engage with clients, architects, and general contractors to align project goals and expectations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a subcontractor environment.
• Proven experience in large-scale commercial projects such as office buildings, healthcare, and data centers.
• Expertise in HVAC and mechanical system design, energy efficiency strategies, and building codes .
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-related software .
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
