Monday – Friday - 8AM-5PM 3 days a week / 10am-7pm 2 days a week – onsite requirements
Pay Rate: $28.00 – 30.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing, escalating, and resolving technical issues. This role involves installing and configuring software, print drivers, utilities, and more on workstations and computer networks. Additionally, the candidate will troubleshoot all information technology issues, including software, hardware, and networking, as well as monitor installed systems, identify problems, and take corrective action.
Responsibilities:
Provide basic technical support to US Foods Clients.
Troubleshoot application issues and perform basic diagnosing of desktop/laptop software problems.
Years of Experience and Education:
3 - 5 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 - 5 years of customer service experience.
Skills Required:
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and commit to a flexible work schedule.
Technical experience (3-5 years) is a plus.
Previous experience troubleshooting desktop, printer, and notebook issues.
Strong user and support skills for MSOffice.
Preferred certifications: A+ or any Microsoft certification.
Knowledge of WLAN Technologies (Wireless concepts) and LAN Technologies (TCP/IP, Ethernet switching, VLAN concepts, Routing concepts, Web filtering concepts).
Network troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Active Directory and related support tools, including basic OU rights and administration.
Familiarity with server operating systems (Windows modern and legacy).
Understanding of DHCP, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP networking.
Experience with third-party software such as Altiris, Symantec Endpoint Protection, BigFix, VPN, FortiClient, VDI.
Ability to handle report distribution using USF approved technologies.
Experience with moves, adds, and changes regarding telecom wiring and devices.
Audio-visual experience with Enterprise Video Endpoints and portable/stationary LCD projectors.
