Organizational Overview

Providence Animal Center (PAC) is located on a 7-acre campus in Media, PA, with a satellite location in Radnor, PA, home to Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals on a 13-acre property. PAC oversees a national mobile spay/neuter program called Fido Fixers and provides high-quality services to over 22,000 animals annually through various initiatives, including adoptions, a low-cost Wellness Clinic, and a Medical Surgery Suite, along with free or low-cost clinics throughout Delaware County and the City of Philadelphia. With a dedicated team of about 85 staff members, interns, and residents, PAC maintains a commitment to animal welfare and community service underscores PAC's vital role in promoting responsible pet ownership and improving the lives of animals in the region.

Summary of Responsibilities

The Major Gift Officer focuses on the cultivation and solicitation of individuals who have the greatest capacity for supporting Providence Animal Centers and Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals’ programs. The Major Gift Officer relates to donors who require the most deftly carried-out cultivation, leading to the solicitation of major outright and planned gifts. The Major Gift Officer coordinates the involvement of advancement leadership and staff, program staff, and volunteers in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual donors.

The Major Gift Officer will have an active portfolio of 50-75 donors and prospects and is expected to make 25-30 in-person solicitations per year.

Salary Range: $115,000 to $125,000
