A global law firm is seeking a Partner Hiring Manager to lead lateral partner hiring efforts. The Manager will be responsible for developing and executing partner hiring strategies, managing recruiting processes, and ensuring an excellent experience for candidates while aligning with the firm's broader goals.

Hours : 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Schedule : Hybrid, 1-2x in office per week in NYC

Salary : $130K-150K

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement lateral partner recruiting strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Manage all aspects of the lateral partner hiring process, including sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing.
• Oversee the background check, reference verification, and due diligence processes.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates and external search firms, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience.
• Track and report on recruitment data and trends, providing insights to firm leadership.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth hiring and onboarding process.
• Draft professional correspondence related to lateral partner recruitment and manage offer correspondence.
• Supervise and guide the development of the partner hiring assistant(s), providing direction and support.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize recruiting processes to improve efficiency, particularly through technology.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of partner and/or lateral associate hiring experience in a mid-to-large law firm.
• 1+ year of prior management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lateral partner recruiting practices and industry trends.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., viDesktop) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
