Job Description
Singapore Airlines Americas is looking to add a full-time Digital Distribution Specialist to join our Regional Commercial Team. This role will work with the Head of Digital Distribution on developing and executing digital distribution strategies to enhance the value proposition of NDC (New Distribution Capability) and drive direct sales for Singapore Airlines. This role works closely with other members of our commercial team, including regional sales, sales planning, and marketing staff, along with global units based at our Singapore headquarters. This is a full-time position, requiring majority work in-person at our El Segundo, California office.
Job Functions
- Develop new product offerings for our digital distribution channels.
- Champion the continuous application of new technology to improve the way we bring our products to customers.
- Monitor trends, technology developments, and competitor distribution initiatives across the airline and travel industry.
- Clearly communicate objectives and progress of digital distribution strategy to sales and leadership team.
- Assist sales channels in their adoption and troubleshooting of new distribution initiatives.
- Develop deep understanding of the travel distribution landscape and the online retailing environment.
- Maintain basic technical competency of Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) to support internal troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1-2 years in a sales, product marketing, or e-commerce related role.
- Highly motivated, curious, and data-driven with proven ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
- Experience with planning and developing content for various digital mediums.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Familiarity with Tableau, Salesforce, and Airline Reservations Systems is a nice-to-have, but not required.
Pay
$27.18-$44.52/hr
