Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Customer Support Specialist Remote (Local to CA)
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Remote (Local to CA)
Schedule: Flexible to work mornings, nights, weekdays, and/or weekends. Hours of 12pm and 12am PST
Pay rate : $18-$21/hr
Responsibilities:
- Handle support requests primarily via email and text, with phone or video support as needed.
- Develop expertise in all aspects of ordering platform.
- Address escalations from merchants, customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Tier 1 & Tier 2 Support.
- Assist with menu settings, customer UI configurations, ticket printing & routing, and reporting reconciliation.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues, diagnosing and addressing failure points.
- Address merchant concerns with empathy and urgency, turning each interaction into a learning opportunity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in technology, hospitality, or customer support.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities.
Preferred Requirements:
- Strong preference to candidates with restaurant experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Toast, Square, Upserve, Micros, Aloha, NCR, Revel).
- Experience with G-Suite, Slack, Atlassian, and Salesforce.
