Our office location is Hazlet, New Jersey. The position is Monday-Thursday On-Site and Friday Work from Home.

Job Description:
The Print / Textile Design Assistant is responsible for assisting the creative printed designs of textile & decor products, for various retailers ranging from Mass Market to Fashion Market. The person will execute the development of printed designs by working with internal departments (Product Development / Production) from concept to finish.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Illustration, Fabric/Textile Design, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in designing printed designs for apparel/fashion - home textiles a plus / seasonal Christmas / Easter etc. a plus!
- Knowledge of Photoshop + Illustrator
- Knowledge creating Development & Production Tech Packs to China
- Prepare designs that is brand appropriate for multiple home categories
- Develop print/patterns for specific trend and seasonal needs
- Research trend and develop a vision to bring newness and fresh ideas to concept!
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines and follow through on all projects
- Follow and support all established procedures within Design Department
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, scheduling conflicts, revisions, and technical challenges effectively
